Role OverviewWorks closely with direct supervision to coordinate all activities required to effectively lay out work, set-up appropriate machines or equipment to meet or exceed fabrication and customer requirements per design specifications and published schedules. Efficiently utilizes resources to minimize scrap, materials, and labor.
What You Will Do
Consistently meet and exceed deadlines for assigned tasks, produce parts that meet and exceed quality standards, train to perform set ups and operation of machinery properly and safely, and trouble-shoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.

Requirements
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Solid work history or school/academic record
- Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Learn to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and other employees of the organization
- Learn and use basic concepts of geometry
- Ability to apply a common sense approach and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Learn and become certified to use Fork lift and overhead crane
