Role OverviewWe are seeking a Fabrication Planner to create weekly and daily production schedules, ensuring inventory investment is minimized, productivity is maximized, and customer service levels are met. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure timely material availability and maintain effective working relationships.
What You Will Do
The Fabrication Planner will create production plans, communicate schedule changes, and ensure schedule attainment and inventory management. They will also collaborate with Materials Manager, Suppliers, and other departments to facilitate smooth material flow and operational efficiency.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires a two-year degree in an appropriate field of study with one to three years of material management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications and extended knowledge of MRP and ERP experience are also required. APICS Certification in CPIM or CSCP is preferred.
