Role Overview

The Fabrication & Stamping Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of metal fabrication and stamping processes. This position supports production operations by optimizing tooling, dies, equipment, and manufacturing methods to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

What You Will Do

Develop, optimize, and maintain metal stamping processes, analyze and improve press utilization, cycle times, and production throughput, troubleshoot stamping quality issues, establish and maintain process parameters, and support transfer of tooling from prototype to full-scale production.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in metal stamping and fabrication, with a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and metal stamping operations and die design principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in metal stamping and fabrication
  • Experience with high-volume production environments preferred
  • Experience supporting progressive and transfer die operations
