Role Overview

The Fabrication Supervisor oversees daily operations in the fabrication department, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and the development of team members. This role requires hands-on experience in metal fabrication and a proven track record of leadership in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

Manage a team of fabricators, conduct performance evaluations, assign tasks, coordinate with other departments, monitor production schedules, and ensure all products meet dimensional and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication setting
  • Advanced knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and machinery
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures (QAPs)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • High levels of organizational and time management skills
  • High levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more
  • Ability to stoop and bend
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time
  • Ability to read a tape measure and prints
  • Ability to convert decimals to fractions and utilize conversion charts
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Excellent color vision and eyesight
