Role OverviewWe are seeking a Fabrication Technician to perform various optical fabrication processes, including beveling, milling, blocking, grinding, polishing, curve generation, and inspection/measurements. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and contribute to the manufacturing of ultra-precision optical components, optical thin film coatings, and optical sub-assemblies for demanding applications.
What You Will Do
Perform basic shaping process steps on simple to medium-difficult parts, inspect and clean parts, and assist with pouring the lap. The candidate will also be responsible for reading and comprehending work instructions and prints for basic dimensions, and using basic mathematics to calculate measurements.
