Role OverviewThe Fabricator will perform repairs to large metal containers, measuring, cutting, fitting, forming, and assembling metal sheets and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and metal fabrication background.
What You Will Do
The Fabricator will set up and operate fabrication equipment, inspect fabricated parts, and maintain a clean and organized work area. They will also adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of metal fabrication experience, with welding experience strongly preferred. They will also be able to work independently, have strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of metal fabrication experience
- Welding experience is strongly preferred
- Torch/plasma cutting experience required
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to constantly use bending, squatting, twisting, and walking motions throughout the entire work shift
- Ability to occasionally climb, using various types of ladders
- Ability to constantly work in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Certification in welding is a plus
