Role OverviewThe Facilities Carpenter performs predictive maintenance and reactive repairs, including repairing furniture, building custom cabinetry, and maintaining facility integrity. Work is performed in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as department and company policies.
What You Will Do
Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on furniture, cabinetry, rooms, public areas, and offices. Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner. Fabricate, assemble, and install permanent structures, office partitions, doors, and other features.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in a similar environment
