Role OverviewThe Facilities Cleaner/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, including classrooms, gyms, bathrooms, and floors. They must demonstrate a commitment to the YMCA's four Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
What You Will Do
The incumbent will perform daily room setup/breakdowns, deliveries, laundry, floor care, and general upkeep. They will also assist with room setup and breakdown for programs, meetings, and special events.

Requirements
- ASHI Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers, ASHI Basic First Aid, EPI and Asthma certifications or equivalent within 90 days of hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all workplace interactions
- Working experience with a hands-on working knowledge of custodial systems, equipment, and chemical usage
- Ability to understand both written/verbal communications in English
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
