Job Description
Urban Resource Institute (URI) is seeking a Facilities Director to oversee the maintenance of multiple assigned facilities in a safe and secure manner, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, local building codes, and state and federal building regulations. The Facilities Director will supervise maintenance staff and contractors, manage work orders, and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of building maintenance experience in a supervisory role, a basic knowledge of building systems, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Supervise the implementation and management of internal and external work order processes
  • Supervise Maintenance Supervisors and outside contractors
  • Provide and document biweekly individual supervision to assigned Maintenance Supervisors
  • Collaborate with program leadership and maintenance supervisor to ensure completion of weekly unit and common area inspections
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance is performed consistent with URI standards and regulatory guidelines
