Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist I acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant DCS (Digital Control Systems) to ensure quality compliance while working with site engineering to remediate reactive issues. Collaborates with project team members, Maintenance Leadership & Engineering to improve future state of process operation at Lonza Portsmouth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of prior experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, life science, or other GMP experience
  • Prior maintenance experience in a large manufacturing, industrial, or power plant
  • Ability to comprehend and apply Standard Operating Procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, DMS, and SAP
