Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (Swing Shift)

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Director of Engineering in the day-to-day operations of the engineering department. This position will primarily be responsible for overseeing the general and preventative maintenance and repairs of guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, back of house areas, and equipment.

What You Will Do

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will ensure proper execution of work order/systems requests, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and maintain logs on movement of stock items and tools. They will also inspect and observe equipment in operation for defects, troubleshoot as appropriate, and ensure that meter readings are taken daily on heat and light.

Requirements

• 2-4 years previous hotel experience as a maintenance department supervisor or progressive maintenance responsibility
• Previous supervisory experience overseeing employees
• Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, screening, locks, HVAC, boiler operations, and proper tool and chemical use
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred
• The ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight and the ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
