Facilities Maintenance Tech

The Facilities Maintenance Tech is responsible for helping ensure the continuous operations of Fiber Pad equipment and property daily. This role performs preventative maintenance on machinery, facilities repairs and all other tasks that help facilitate production.

What You Will Do

Performing assigned monthly PMs on thermoforming lines, CNC and support equipment, service and repair vacuum pumps and air compressors, and perform basic plumbing functions such as repairing toilets, sinks, drinking fountains, etc.

Requirements

• Three years of progressive experience working in a maintenance related role within a manufacturing environment, performing machine and facilities maintenance.
• Basic electrical knowledge of single phase, three-phase, and control voltage and ability to work up to 480v, and PLC knowledge.
• Mig welding experience.
• Ability to act in a collaborative manner with production teams to help troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Ability to take directions and instruction.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative manner with multiple departments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and read schematics.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks at once with interruptions.
• Strong editing, proofreading and math skills with the ability to read measurement devices
• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand and properly utilize tools with accuracy.
• Technical aptitude to understand machinery within a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to interact with customers and Leadership in a professional manner.
• High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
