Job Description
M Powered Strategies (MPS) is seeking a senior Facilities Management leader to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of a public-sector organizational redesign engagement. The SME will provide operational insight, peer benchmarking perspective, and structural feasibility testing to support a facilitated assessment and future-state organizational design process for a county Facilities Management Division.

Requirements

  • Participate in biweekly virtual Steering Team sessions (2 hours each)
  • Participate in two half-day design workshops (in-person preferred)
  • Provide operational perspective on preventive vs. reactive maintenance maturity
  • Pressure-test proposed supervisory models and trade structures
  • Advise on centralized vs. decentralized organizational models
  • Identify implementation risks and transitional strain points
  • Provide peer benchmarking insight from comparable public-sector or complex institutional portfolios
  • Distinguish structural issues from process or staffing challenges
  • Review draft findings and provide advisory feedback on operational realism
