Job Description
The Facilities Manager position is responsible for supervising, directing, and maintaining a building maintenance, security, and service program for the Monroe County Regional Service Center in Marathon, FL. The incumbent will oversee facility systems, including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, and electric/pneumatic controls, and will be responsible for recommending employees to be hired, performing personnel evaluations, and initiating purchase requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience in facilities management of commercial facilities
  • Minimum of two years' supervisory experience
  • Valid and applicable driver's license is required
  • Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs, climb a ladder, reach overhead, work from heights, bend at the waist, kneel and crouch, be able to work near loud noises and electrical equipment, work in basements, tight spaces, on rooftops
