Role Overview

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing facility operations, providing preventative maintenance, and managing assets at all AHNI sites. The role involves planning, coordination, and risk management to ensure the timely and effective management of facilities and grounds. The Facilities Manager will work closely with the team to develop and maintain systems for responsible asset management and will be responsible for communicating effectively with other lead staff and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

The Facilities Manager will oversee facility operations, plan and coordinate maintenance activities, and manage budgets and resources. The role involves performing a range of functions, including hiring, establishing expectations, performance tracking, and employee relations. The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all required trainings are completed on time and for identifying and resolving barriers to achieving goal attainment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, plus ten years of experience in maintaining facilities, or equivalent related experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. The candidate should have basic to intermediate computer skills in a MS Office environment, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks in a timely manner. The candidate should also be physically able to work standing for extended periods, climb heights, and lift and carry up to 50lbs.
