Role OverviewThe Facilities Specialist will report directly to the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager and be responsible for the daily administration, monitoring, and enforcement of safety programs across the electronics manufacturing floor. This role focuses on maintaining a 'safety-first' culture, ensuring continuous compliance with OSHA General Industry standards (29 CFR 1910), and mitigating hazards unique to electronic component assembly.
What You Will Do
The Facilities Specialist will conduct routine inspections of SMT assembly lines, wave soldering machines, and cleanrooms to detect and eliminate safety hazards. They will also audit and manage the facility's OSHA LOTO program during automated machinery maintenance, monitor compliance around high-voltage testing equipment, and conduct and update risk assessments for new or modified production machinery.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of dedicated safety experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment, a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, and strong familiarity with general machinery guarding, electrical hazard protocols, and ergonomics related to repetitive electronic assembly tasks.
