Job Description
The Facilities Support Specialist at the Long Beach Amphitheater is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations and physical condition of the facility, ensuring all building systems, equipment, and event-related infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards to support safe and successful operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance within a multi-use facility, arena, or similar environment
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, and general facility systems
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Knowledge of life safety systems, fire control systems, and building automation systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with staff, clients, and vendors
  • Proficiency in operating maintenance equipment and standard office tools
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • May be exposed to hazardous materials and chemicals
  • Must be able to pass a background check
