Job Description
Join our team at Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility and help change lives while building your career. As a Facility Intervention Administrator, you will assist the facility Superintendent in implementing and monitoring state-wide DYS policy related to facility security. This includes reviewing use of force incidents, conducting related training programs, and serving as liaison between the Superintendent and facility staff and Central Office.

Requirements

  • 4 years of training or experience in business administration, management science, or public administration
  • Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science, or public administration, with 2 years of training or experience in supervisory, administrative, and/or managerial position
  • Completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area, with 2 years of training or experience in supervisory, administrative, and/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research, and/or policy/procedure development
  • 1 year of experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment
