Job Description
For over 125 years, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has been providing quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens, currently offering more than 160 programs and services for children, youth, adults, seniors, and individuals struggling with mental illness. Early Childhood Development Centers provide free Head Start services to low-income families at no cost to the children ages 3 to 5 years.

Requirements

  • Maintain the health records of children enrolled in the program
  • Supervise and support Social Service staff in the absence of the Family Service Coordinator (FSC)
  • Ensure that all children's immunizations are current
  • Plan and coordinate Health Education Workshops and Health Fairs for parents
  • Coordinate Parent Involvement Program (s) and conduct home visits for all children
  • Facilitate team meetings with assigned classrooms
  • Cover classrooms as needed
