Role Overview

The Family Development Coach will work with families and individuals to achieve their goals, providing services such as guidance and counseling, case management, and community outreach. The coach will be responsible for developing and reviewing family development plans, maintaining case notes, and referring participants to external resources as needed.

Responsibilities will include outreach and recruitment, developing and reviewing family development plans, maintaining case notes, and referring participants to external resources as needed. The coach will also assist and guide community members with their educational, emergency services, financial, and professional goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling or related field
  • Family Development Coach certification within 1 year of employment
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth and community
  • Culturally competent and able to provide services in a manner sensitive to participants' cultural heritage and traditions
  • Bilingual (fluency in English and any of the following languages Arabic/Chinese/Spanish)
