Job Description
Role Overview

This position performs advanced family finding program efforts to discover, engage, plan, make decisions, and evaluate strategies to locate relatives and fictive kin. The incumbent will conduct extensive searches, collaborate with child protective investigators, and engage with the Judicial system to support placement changes.

What You Will Do

Conduct home study assessments, provide recommendations, attend family finding group decision making, establish cooperative working relationships, and regularly review changes to Florida Statutes and policies.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge in Florida's Practice Model, experience in Microsoft Office, and excellent written and oral communication skills. They will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Certified Child Welfare Professional through the Florida Certification Board
