Job Description
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is seeking a Family Self-Sufficiency Case Manager for the Division of Program Policy and Innovation (DPPI). The DPPI's mission is to promote quality and affordability in the city's housing and promote economic stability and mobility. This role involves recruiting and enrolling families in the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 program to achieve economic independence through a combination of workforce development, job training, financial literacy, and credit deposits into escrow. The case manager will also be responsible for maintaining escrow accounts, participating in internal and external meetings, and providing information to clients and agency personnel.
