Family Self Sufficiency Coach

Requirements

• Assess program eligibility and ensure assets, income, and deductions are accurately calculated in compliance with HUD regulations and NH Housing’s Administrative Plan.
• Manage and obligate approximately $5 million in monthly Housing Assistance Payments, helping ensure housing stability for families across New Hampshire.
• Administer a wide range of HUD programs, including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Moderate Rehabilitation, Project-Based Voucher (PBV), Mainstream, Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH), Homeownership, Family Unification Program (FUP), Foster Youth to Independence (FYI), and other special-purpose vouchers, ensuring compliance while delivering high-quality service.
• Coach and mentor FSS participants using HUD’s FSS Coaching tools, Action Plans, and publications—guiding clients to build self ‐confidence, life skills, and pathways toward their personal and professional goals.
