Job Description
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation Development is hiring a Family Self-Sufficiency Team Leader to lead the FSS program, which enables families receiving Housing Choice Voucher assistance to achieve economic independence. The Team Leader will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and delegating work to a team of Case Managers or Specialists, and will also provide training and mentorship in accordance with program rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in community work or community centered activities
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong Customer Service Focus
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Bilingual a Plus
  • Section 8 or other Rental Subsidy experience a Plus
