Role OverviewThe Family Service Associate provides casework services, counseling, and referral resources to families of children enrolled in the child development program. The role involves promoting and recruiting eligible children for the Early Childhood Program, preparing printed material, and performing door-to-door canvassing activities. The Family Service Associate also assists parents with procuring required dental and medical records, provides casework services, and coordinates disability services for children with special needs.

Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
- 3-5 years of related experience in social work, case management, family, and community work
- Solid knowledge base in providing services to low-income families
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Bilingual language abilities (English/Spanish)
- Reliable personal transportation and minimum vehicle insurance coverage
- Ability to pass DMV background check and provide pre-employment medical screening for TB, MMR & T-dap
