Job Description
Better Together is seeking a Family Support Manager to assist families in crisis in North Central Florida, Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Madison, Marion, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, and Union counties. The role involves assessing needs, matching families to volunteers, facilitating stays in safe housing, and providing mentorship and coaching. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family services, social work, and the ability to work remotely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, or related field of study
  • Child Welfare Certification from the Florida Certification Board (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in crisis situations
