Family Support Specialist - Tennessee

We're looking for a mission-aligned Family Support Specialist to bring the power of lived caregiver experience to the center of our care model. As a Tennessee Certified Family Support Specialist (CFSS), or someone on the path to certification, you'll partner with caregivers of youth facing emotional, behavioral, mental health, substance use, or developmental challenges, offering encouragement, building trust, and helping them navigate the systems that stand between their family and lasting wellness.

What You Will Do

Partner with caregivers as a peer, drive family engagement in the program, reinforce the caregiver curriculum, navigate and advocate across systems, build the family's support network and goals, and coordinate with the Holon care team.

Requirements

• Lived experience as a caregiver
• 18 or older, with a high school diploma or GED
• Tennessee Certified Family Support Specialist (CFSS), held, or eligibility and willingness to obtain within [12] months of hire
• At least 12 months (within the past 10 years) of paid or volunteer experience supporting families or navigating child-serving systems
• Willingness to work under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional (required to earn and maintain the CFSS)
• Comfort with technology: telehealth, a smartphone app (the Holon Vibe app), and basic digital documentation
• Tennessee residency, reliable transportation, and the ability to make occasional community or field visits
• Ability to pass the background checks required to work with minors and families
• Strong boundaries, cultural humility, and a deep commitment to family voice and choice
