Job Description
Join Miraval Austin Resort and Spa as a Farm Hand - Seasonal and be part of a team that values balance, mindfulness, and care. This is a seasonal position with the potential to move to full-time at the end of the season.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate mechanical cultivation equipment
  • Ability to utilize long and short handled tools
  • Ability to apply field preparations for organic growing strategies
  • Ability to operate and repair irrigation systems
  • Ability to plant crops, herbs, and perennials
  • Ability to scout and communicate disease, weed, or insect pressures
  • Ability to harvest, sort, store, package, and prepare produce and medicinal herbs
  • Ability to propagate, prune, irrigate, train, and harvest perennial crops and herbs
  • Ability to maintain farmscape areas
  • Ability to perform tasks related to poultry care
  • Ability to lead educational tours and hands-on classes
  • Ability to groom an arena and maintain horse fencing
