Requirements

  • Operate mechanical cultivation equipment
  • Utilize long and short handled tools
  • Apply field preparations for organic growing strategies
  • Operate and repair irrigation systems
  • Plant crops, herbs, and perennials
  • Scout and communicate any disease, weed, or insect pressures
  • Harvest, sort, store, package, and prepare produce and medicinal herbs
  • Maintain farmscape areas
  • Perform tasks related to poultry care
  • Lead educational tours
  • Lead hands-on classes
  • To groom an arena and keep it level
  • Build, repair and maintain horse fencing
