Job Description
Join Miraval Austin Resort and Spa as a Farm Hand - Seasonal and be part of a team that values well-being and career development. As a Farm Field Hand, you'll be responsible for executing daily farm functions, leading educational tours, and maintaining the equine facility. This is a seasonal position with the potential to move to Full Time at the end of the season.

Requirements

  • Operate mechanical cultivation equipment
  • Utilize long and short handled tools
  • Apply field preparations for organic growing strategies
  • Operate and repair irrigation systems
  • Plant crops and herbs
  • Scout and communicate disease, weed, or insect pressures
  • Harvest, sort, store, package, and prepare produce
  • Maintain farmscape areas
  • Perform tasks related to poultry care
  • Lead educational tours and hands-on classes
  • To groom an arena and keep it level
