Role Overview

The Farmland Preservation Coordinator supports Wake County's farmland preservation initiatives by assisting with program administration, conservation easement coordination, landowner outreach, stewardship activities, and Agricultural Advisory Board support.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include supporting the administration of the Voluntary Agricultural District (VAD), Enhanced VAD (EVAD), and Conservation Easement Programs, conducting annual monitoring visits, providing administrative and technical support to the Agricultural Advisory Board, and collaborating with local, state, and federal partners on farmland preservation initiatives.

Requirements
