Job Description
Feed Batching Skilled FM02 1st Shift/Full Time position at Center Feed Mill in Center, Texas. The role requires accuracy in data recording, calculation, and measurement, as well as ability to work in various environments, perform maintenance duties, and communicate with dispatch.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to accurately record data
  • Must have the ability to accurately calculate the amount of feed you can produce
  • Must have the ability to accurately read a tape measure for end of shift inventory
  • Must have the ability to open heavy doors and clean out mills
  • Ability to push/pull pallet jack with bulk/1 ton bags of ingredients and hang them
  • Must have the ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
  • Must be Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
  • Must have the ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
  • Must have the ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
  • Must be Able to abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
  • Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
  • Communicate with dispatch to make sure the feed they need is being produced
  • Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
  • Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
