Role OverviewThe position is responsible for repairing and maintaining all aspects of the feed mill facility, working on the 2nd shift (2:00 pm-10:00 pm) and as needed on weekends.
What You Will Do
Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on feed mill equipment and facility, utilizing shop mathematics, interpreting drawings, and communicating with production management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience, basic mechanical skills, and knowledge of standard and metric measurements, with the ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Reading, General Math and Writing Skills
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- General knowledge of welding/fabrication
- General knowledge of both low and high voltage electrical
- Ability to work overtime including, holidays, nights, and weekend shifts
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing and able to stand for several hours
- Ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with use of PPE
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodations
