Role Overview

The Festival Coordinator, Events is charged with assisting the Festival Associate Managers, Events with the planning and operational execution of assigned events during the Sundance Film Festival. This temporary position works full-time (40 hours per week) from Wednesday, October 14, 2026 to Friday, February 26, 2027. The role supports the Festival Associate Managers, Events and Sundance Institute’s commitment to providing a successful and positive in-person Festival experience for all artists and patrons.

What You Will Do

Coordinating and implementing logistical needs for assigned events, building and editing event invitations, assisting event hosts with guest list curation, and monitoring expenses for assigned events.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • 1–2 years of experience coordinating or assisting with events
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer support skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Working knowledge of Airtable, Google Workspace, and familiarity with online events using Zoom Webinar or an equivalent platform
