Job Description
The Fiber and Broadband Field Technician is responsible for coordinating and constructing backbone, distribution, drops, and other fiber projects, including field inspection, staking designs, preparing work orders, and ensuring equipment is delivered timely.

Requirements

  • Design customer extension for fiber optic plant
  • Locate customer underground facilities for crews
  • Utilize mapping applications, including Futura and CresentLink
  • Prepare negotiation of easement and right-of-way documentation
  • Install fiber optic cable and equipment for the delivery of services
