Role OverviewAs a Fiber Splicer, you'll complete the process of fusing optical fibers to maintain our telecommunication networks. Your splicing work is essential for keeping strong and reliable connections, ensuring data travels seamlessly through our continually growing network.
What You Will Do
Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, test and activate the network's circuit, troubleshoot issues, and document work performed through daily production reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for someone with 6 months of splicing experience or one year of experience in the telecommunications industry, who can work at heights, navigate confined spaces, and operate heavy machinery.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid State driver's license
- DOT physical exam
- 6 months of splicing experience or one year of experience in the telecommunications industry
