Field Acceleration & Enablement Senior Manager

Cisco
San Jose, CA
Job Description
Role Overview

The Field Acceleration & Enablement Senior Manager sits within Splunk's Product Marketing organization, serving as the connective tissue between product strategy and field teams. This role defines the narrative, differentiation, and commercialization motions that turn product innovation into revenue, operating as a senior individual contributor who leads through influence rather than headcount.

What You Will Do

Own the strategy, design, and operating model for translating product strategy into a portfolio of repeatable sales plays that drive measurable revenue outcomes at global scale. Serve as lead designer for high-complexity plays, operationalize measurement models for play effectiveness, and set the strategy for competitive takeout motions including displacement and win-back.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role is ideal for a candidate with 10+ years in product marketing, sales enablement, or field-facing GTM roles, including 5+ years building sales plays from scratch and 5+ years supporting B2B SaaS sales cycles. The position offers the opportunity to influence senior Sales and GTM leaders without formal authority and to define a company-wide standard for sales play frameworks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across product marketing, digital marketing, sales enablement, or field-facing GTM roles, including 3+ years owning programs at global or multi-theater scale.
  • 5+ years of experience building and launching sales plays or GTM programs from scratch, including defining the messaging framework, enablement assets, and launch motion.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting B2B SaaS or subscription sales cycles, including direct work on field execution or competitive displacement motions.
  • 3+ years of experience translating product or corporate strategy into documented sales-facing frameworks — such as plays, discovery guides, qualification models, or objection-handling assets — adopted by a sales organization.
  • 3+ years of experience defining success metrics for GTM programs and using performance data (such as attach rate, influenced pipeline, win rate, or cycle time) to scale, refine, or sunset those programs.
