Role OverviewThe Field Applications Engineer (FAE) plays a critical role in supporting key Multek customers within the Rigid, Flexible, and Rigid/Flex PCB sectors, specifically focusing on the Commercial and Industrial market segments.
What You Will Do
Provide technical sales support, conduct early-stage Design Reviews, deliver technical presentations, assist customers with design standards and material selection, and communicate customers' technology requirements to manufacturing.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a proven in-depth understanding of product design and resultant PCB stack-up solutions, and be proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or 10 years of equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years related of rigid and rigid-flex PCB manufacturing experience
- Specific experience in key market segments, such as Consumer Electronics, MCM, RF Applications, Infrastructure, Automotive and Industrial segments
- Understanding of DFM Analysis software and Stack-up simulation software
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to speak and write English well, with bilingual skills being a plus
