Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Field Auditor to ensure correct materials are delivered to meet company standards and takeoffs, performing on-site inspections throughout the construction process.

Requirements

  • Perform on-site inspections of all homes throughout the construction process
  • Check jobsites for materials that can be returned for credit
  • Determine if accurate material quantities are delivered and coordinate with material suppliers on incorrect deliveries
  • Audit jobsites to confirm that material takeoffs are correct and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure vendors are using materials correctly per plan
  • Issue back charges for material overages or work with the Superintendent to do so
  • Make minor corrections on-site as needed
