Job Description
The Field Buyer is responsible for supplier interaction, sourcing, and procuring materials, and securing third-party rentals to support Operations. This role will also include overseeing frame agreements with strategic suppliers.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years' experience in manufacturing purchasing
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M)
  • Strong negotiation, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to read prints and pull materials from prints
  • Knowledge of API, ASME, and ASTM code
  • Strong computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and material management software
