Field Claims Representative

The Field Claims Representative will investigate and evaluate multi-line insurance claims through personal contact to ensure accurate settlements. The role requires building productive relationships, collaborating within a diverse team, and developing skills to contribute and grow. The representative will work in a paperless environment, using claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust loss.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include completing thorough claim investigations, interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses, consulting police and hospital records, evaluating claim facts and policy coverage, inspecting property and auto damages, and preparing reports of findings and securing settlements with insureds and claimants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work unsupervised
