Field Construction Manager-Transmission

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Construction Manager-Transmission to join our team at K&A Power Group in Liberty, New York. What You Will Do

Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including electromechanical and civil work. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements. Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare weekly/monthly reports.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a minimum of 10 years of progressive related electric utility industry experience, with transmission facilities construction management experience preferred. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education
• 10 years relevant experience
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive related electric utility industry experience
• 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity
• Knowledge of NRA clearances and switching orders
• Authorized Person approved by both Divisions (Binghamton and Elmira)
• Detailed work experience in electrical Utility transmission UV/OV & civil construction
• Knowledge of GPS Systems & knowledge of SAP
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Ability to investigate and solve construction problems in a timely manner
• Computer and Administrative skills
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Current US Work authorization and valid US Driver License in good standing
