Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Construction Manager-Transmission to join our team at K&A Power Group in Liberty, New York. What You Will Do
Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including electromechanical and civil work. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements. Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare weekly/monthly reports.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a minimum of 10 years of progressive related electric utility industry experience, with transmission facilities construction management experience preferred. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education
- 10 years relevant experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive related electric utility industry experience
- 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of NRA clearances and switching orders
- Authorized Person approved by both Divisions (Binghamton and Elmira)
- Detailed work experience in electrical Utility transmission UV/OV & civil construction
- Knowledge of GPS Systems & knowledge of SAP
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Ability to investigate and solve construction problems in a timely manner
- Computer and Administrative skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Current US Work authorization and valid US Driver License in good standing
