Job Description
Rangefront Mining Services is seeking motivated and hardworking Entry Level Field Geologists to support mineral exploration and field operations.

Requirements

  • Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols in all situations
  • Collect soil samples and ensure accurate and detailed data recording
  • Locate, mark, and stake mining claims in accordance with project requirements
  • Assist with geophysical surveys and hazard mitigation activities (e.g., fencing, site closures)
  • Perform reclamation work associated with mineral exploration projects
  • Navigate to remote field locations using GPS, maps, and field navigation tools
  • Travel to and camp in remote locations for extended periods
  • Hike several miles per day across steep and rugged terrain
  • Lift up to 80 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs over long distances
  • Safely operate ATVs and company vehicles in challenging terrain and weather conditions
  • Work in adverse weather conditions, flexible schedules, and extended work hours
  • Complete tasks both independently and as part of a team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support field operations
