Job Description
Field Geologist II provides field oversight and technical support for geological and environmental investigations, with extensive travel throughout the southeastern United States. The position requires 5–10 years of related field geology experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of related field geology experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology (preferred) or Geological Engineering (accepted)
  • Experience with soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and environmental sampling methods
  • Working knowledge of gINT BoreDM Boring Log Program and federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
