Job Description
The Field Mechanic (Heavy Equipment) is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Heavy Civil Construction Equipment. Haydon is a company that serves a wide scale of markets with its all-in-one construction solutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in repair/maintenance/welding in heavy civil construction equipment required
  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • Must be able to cut, weld and fabricate
  • Experience and knowledge of CAT ET diagnostic tool.
  • Must have the ability to climb ladders and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Working knowledge and understanding of OSHA rules and regulations
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required
  • Previous experience reading technical manuals and understanding of schematic diagrams preferred
  • Requires valid state-specific driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record that meets Haydon's insurability requirements.
