Job Description
Carter Machinery Company is hiring a Field Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead the commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mobile and modular distributed power plants utilizing natural gas turbines and natural gas reciprocating engines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent field experience).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in power generation operations and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with natural gas turbines and/or reciprocating engines.
  • Experience managing field teams in a multi-site or mobile asset environment.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA systems, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and remote monitoring tools.
  • Experience with maintenance planning and tracking systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or working with CAT dealers.
  • Experience in data center, industrial, utility, or oil and gas environments.
  • Familiarity with grid-interconnected and behind-the-meter applications.
  • Experience with modular or rapidly deployable power systems.
