Role OverviewThe Field Operations Manager reports to the Location Manager and has direct responsibility for all field activities associated with the production of soybean and wheat seed. This includes grower recruiting, contracting, development training, and field production activities. The Field Operations Manager works closely with the Location Manager to ensure safe and cost-effective processes, and with the Plant Operations Manager to meet customer quantity and quality requests.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include employee safety training, hiring and supervising temporary and seasonal employees, providing daily supervision of full-time employees, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System, and assisting growers with production techniques.
