Job Description
Field Sales Representative to increase sales in the Tampa and Panhandle territory by creating sales, defending sales, and penetrating sales for existing and potential customers. The role involves selling company products and services to assigned customers, establishing business relationships, and negotiating special pricing. The Field Sales Representative must have a strong knowledge of sales, purchasing, product, vendors, warehousing, branch operations, and systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, and be able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible, independent decisions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of field sales experience, preferably in component sales and/or engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and make responsible, independent decisions
  • Must be able to travel 50%
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to carry up to 10 lbs. without assistance
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR
