Job Description
Mustang Cat is hiring a Field Service Electrician to join their Power Systems Division in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar power generation equipment, including diesel and gas engines, switchgear, and complex electrical systems.

Requirements

  • Troubleshoot and repair engines, generators, controls, switchgear, and wiring
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and point-to-point drawings
  • Install Class 1 Div 2 conduit and wiring, including enclosure lighting panels
  • Perform Load Bank testing and work with Low, Medium, and High Voltage systems
  • Fabricate and install engine harnesses and solder wire connections
  • Install and wire generators, switchgear, controls, conversions, and related components
  • Generate detailed field service reports for customer documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service while on job sites
