Field Service Manager

As a Field Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations in the Field Service Department, managing a technician team and interacting with customers, product vendors, and senior management. This role requires extensive knowledge of 2-way radio theory, RF propagation characteristics, and communications systems.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include managing projects and service assignments, preparing quotes and bids, scheduling field work, providing technical support, and diagnosing and troubleshooting wireless communication equipment problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in technical management in the wireless industry
• Experience in developing, qualifying, and directing new business opportunities through customer interface and requirements gathering process
• Knowledge of, and experience with a network of vendor resources
• Experience managing complex project implementations
• Understanding of business practices P&L responsibility
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Extensive knowledge/understanding of 2-way radio theory, RF propagation characteristics at various frequency bands and communications systems
• Technical leadership experience associated with wireless solutions
• Technical leadership experience associated with multiple 2-way radio technologies
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Security Clearance is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
